YET ANOTHER NEW CHINESE BAZAR IN ALMORADI
I was driving into Almoradi this morning and I noticed a building next to Max Descuento on the roundabout that had a Chinese notice, which appears to be another bazar. There seems to be more and more of these where ever you go. I noticed another one being discussed on the Quesada forum. How many more is the Government going to allow?
SNOOKER
A group of us fancied a game of snooker yesterday and initially thought the Green Baize in Quesada would be ideal, unfortunately when we turned up it was shut. There are not many places in quesada that I am aware of that have snooker facilities. Then I remembered the Country Club, so we ended up there and we all thouroughly enjoyed the time. Does anone know of any other places that offer snooker. Thanks

MENS TENNIS FINAL SUNDAY 5 JUNE
Tennis lovers out there, tomorrow is the final of the French Open from Paris.
It´s being contested by the usual suspects, Nadal and Federer. Live on Eurosport and BBC2 from 3.00pm. Who will lift the trophy this year? One interesting fact is if Federer wins then Djockovic will be the new no1 in the world!
I love tennis so I will be watching this rather fantastic match between the two best players in the world. I am going for Federer to win in 4. I think if Federer wins it will be his 13 or 14th Grand Slam of his career. I just hope its another tennis classic.
EXHIBITION OF 2ND HAND CAR SALES
Visited Xl 2ND HAND MOTOR FAIR IN ALMORADI yesterday as I was looking and hoping to change my car in part exchange. Lots of choices, but was amazed how expensive second hand cars cost here in Spain. I tried to negotiate with several dealers but they were so adamant about the prices and would not budge a great deal. So I decided to keep my car for at least another year. I will give it a service and look after it and save myself a few euros.
I have seen a few cars as I have been driving around in the Catrel area that are for sale and they seem very cheap. I will post the phone numbers next time I am passing

The event is being held on the Carabasi complex in Gran alacant for the for the Japan Tsunami and lorca appeal. There will be lots of live music throughout the day with everything from soloists, guitarist to Tributes and dancers. There will also be food and drink available from the all the bars.
The event starts at about mid day until late.

If you have a few hours to spare on the weekend, pop down to Casa La Pedrera the Grand Design House and soak up the atomosphere of the Music, Arts & Craft Festival. It runs all day until 6 and there is an opening and a closing performance both with a spanish flavour. If you have never experienced the true ´flamenco´ you need to be here at 4.00pm on Saturday to see the ´Gypsey King´ from Sevilla, who is the real deal. He has a huge spanish following and has never played to english before, so we need to show him that we can ´Fiesta´like the rest of them. So tell all your friends, there is plenty to see and do, craft fair, art exhibition, and for the kids pony, quad rides and our hay ride with trips to the lake. An all day bbq, plus wood fired paella in the true Valencian tradition. The raffle prizes truly amazing and includes hand made jewellery, paintings etc. & all those entering receiving a free sample of the spanish Liquor, Licquor 43... So much to do, see and hear,,, you cannot afford to miss it!!! We are less than 15 mins from Quesada, quickest way is jump onto the AP7 towards Categena, and take the next exit which is Los Montesinos, follow the signs for Orihuela/Bigastro and its just left after the Vista Bella/La Fortaleza Rest. or simply drive right through Los Montesinos, over the motorway again following the signs to Bigastr/Orihuela. Very hard to call this one! However I think Nadal is beginning to find his form again since recovering from his injury last year, and I have to go for Nadal in 4 sets. Should be a great tennis match to watch.
