Broadway & Hollywood show by Jukebox Promotions
Sunday June 19th see's this show at Casa Nicolas, Altos del Limonar and Monday 20th it's at La Marina Sport complex. Thursday 23rd at Rocajuna, Punta Prima then its at Asturias, A332, Punta Prima on Tuesday 28th June and Wednesday 29th June it's at The Club in Quesada. This is a great show featuring the fabulous Andy Jones as he illustrates his amazing voice with songs from top Broadway and West End shows such as Westside Story, Les Mis, Phantom of the Opera, South Pacific and more. So far he has received a standing ovation at all of the shows on this tour. Supported by Fiona McLean (of Jukebox Legends) who also sings some great show songs along with Shirley Bassey, Celine Dion numbers (an more) from films. Peter Day, also from Jukebox Legends completes the line up with some film tracks from popular 60s and 70s music and all in all this varied and high quality show is a must for anyone wh loves musicals. HAS THE INTENSE HEAT ALREADY KICKED IN
WOW!!!! Was it hot yesterday! I checked my outside thermometer and it read 35 degrees in the shade and the time was 8pm. During the day it hit more than 40 degrees and it was as though we were melting slowly. But having said that we love it and be sensible and stay out of the direct sunlight and keep that factor 50 sunblock on and close to hand.It would be interesting to hear from the forum members on how they cope and handle the heat here in Spain. All comments welcome
Not lived here long, but did not realise the heat is that strong. Does anyone know if it gets any hotter, I mean I love the sun but this type of heat can be unbearable. Seriously not complaining, just want it to be 10 degrees lower. I suppose you cannot have your cake and eat it!!!!!!

Wait till 3 months have passed and you can’t' wait to go dancing in the rain.
The answer is to get up early do what you need to do then go back to bed (locally known as a siesta) then come out in the evening. Takes some getting used to.

LOOKING TO START A BUSINESS IN ALMORADI
Hi,
My husband and I have not long ago moved into Almoradi. We have two kids and are looking to start a business and not sure what is missing in Almoradi for the British and Spanish community. If anyone has any suggestions or advice we would be more than greatful. Thank you all.
We changed our shop into another classroom & have a lot of stock left over if your interested. Toys & children's clothes .
I know things are very difficult at the moment but I thought that one of the few things missing in Almoradi is a traditional fish n chip shop. I know there are not too many expats and one or two of the British bars offer fish n chips but not solely as a fish n chip shop. Maybe something to look into. Just a thought. Good luck
AEGON TENNIS FINAL AT QUEENS
The final was delayed until today as it was postponed yesterday due to heavy rain. The 2 finalists are Andy Murray and Jo Wilfred Tsonga. The match starts at 1.30pm. Who will win? I am going for Murray.
Absolutely scorching isn´t it!!!!!! I work on the road a lot so my air con is on full blast, its the only way to keep cool, costly I know, but I have no choice. If you have to go out try to avoid the heat between 1-4pm and if you are out then find a nice little cafe/bar that has air con and enjoy a cool drink.
