Abba Girls and Karen Carpenter tribute tour
Awesome tribute to Karen Carpenter is supported by the spectacular Abba Girls (with Abba sing-a-long)
A unique and outstanding tour taking in seven more venues is underway in the Costa Blanca and the shows feature a fantastic Tribute to Karen Carpenter. Jackie Whyte has the exact voice and style of the superstar of The Carpenters who died at such a young age and she will take the audience through all of the songs that Karen's amazing style portrayed so well in the 70s. Jackie, who has been a singing sensation in Ireland for many years says "Karen had one of the most clear voices ever in music and she was simply a legend. I hope to illustrate some of her style as a perform some of her incredible songs".
packed with fun, great music, nostalgia and memories.
The show will also feature an incredible performance by the Abba Girls. Made up of Jackie and Jukebox Legends very own Fiona McLean, they will sing the Abba songs you all know and love and they will amaze you as their powerful voices reach the notes and "hit the spot"!! This part of the show will also have a new feature for Jukebox Promotions events as they will offer a fun, exciting sing-a-long! Words will be available so if you need glasses to read, bring them along!! This will be a show The eight shows cover venues from Gran Alacant to Crevillente, Los Alcazares and areas in the middle and along the coast so, there's an opportunity to see this show somewhere near you!
Support for this show will be from Peter Day who will portray some great songs of the past - It's "bring on the memories" all the way with this great fund raising tour for the fabulous charity Help at Home (Costa Blanca). Pre show meals are available at most venues. Please ask venue for details.

An Evening With Dramatic Licence
The next production by this talented local theatre company will be on 16th, 17th and 18th May at 8pm at the Teatro Cardenal Belluga, San Fulgencio – and this time they have a programme of three plays.
So if you like Alan Ayckbourn and Alan Bennett – you’ll love the farce that is Gosforth’s Fete and the thoughtful A Chip in The Sugar from Bennett’s Talking Heads series.The third play is Last Tango In Little Grimley by David Tristram and a hilarious take on how difficult it is to run an amateur theatre group. But sex sells – and if you want to know how, you’ll have to come along.
Former productions by Dramatic Licence include the recent Farndale Christmas Carol, the comedies While The Cats Away, The Odd Couple, Murdered to Death (pictured) Seasons' Greetings and many more. So far, the company has been able to donate more that 30,000 euros to local Alzheimers Societies in the six years since starting up with the unforgettable play Don’t Dress For Dinner in 2005.

hi would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended our tapas night last night what a fantastic night with lots of great feedback everyone enjoyed there 9 courses of homemade tapas and sangria for only 9.95 euros again it was a complete selll out so if you would like to attend one of these poular nights then watch this space for details .Also we will be open on 1st and 8th april for palm and easter sunday serving breakfast from 10am till 12 then from 1pm till 5pm 3 course sunday lunch including a wine /beer for only 9.95 but booking are essential for these dates

Airport on strike in Madrid at times.
Should you fly to or from Madrid over the next few months you have to know this. It is a risk of a complete paralysis of the entire airport in both March, April and May.
Not only Iberia pilots are on strike at times - also the employees in Madrid which are the staff of the Spanish Airport Authority AENA. Groups like aircraft operators, transportation workers, mechanics and maintenance personnel, firefighters, administrative staff, doctors and other helpers. The strikes are announced to 16 and 19 March, 4th, 8th and 30 april, and the second and 3 May starting at. 00 to 24.
Here are the Iberia pilots' strike days:
In March: 16th, 19th, 23rd, 25th, 26th and 30.
In april: 2nd, 4th, 9th, 13th, 16th, 20th, 23rd, 27th and 30.
In May: 2nd, 4th, 7th, 11th, 14th, 18th, 21st, 25th and 28.
