Today friday is the beginning of the best 3 nights of the Almoradi fiestas. Tonight sees the Moors parade, tomorrow saturday is the turn of the Christians and sunday is the storming of the castle.
If you have not seen this before you must try to see this and I will guarantee you will thoroughly enjoy it and will experience something you may never see again in your life.
Fantastic night at the fiestas yesterday, great colour, detailed and exquisite costumes, fabulous dancing and music, 1000,s of people watching and taking part. The atmosphere was electric and considering the numbers there was not one incident or misdemeanour. Brilliant to see so many happy faces in the times of hardship.
I thought that friday´s parade was more colourful and entertaining than saturdays, still lovely and enjoyable. This was our first ever fiesta in Almoradi and would recommend it to anyone.
well thats the fiestas over in Almoradi for another year and wow what a busy busy time for us @Cafe Vienna another 100 meals served again tonight so we are closed tommorow day time and tuesday day time for a well deserved rest we hope everyone enjoyed the fiestas and would like to thank all our customers for their support
Well done to Cafe Vienna and all the other businesses that have done well throughout the fiestas. All thoroughly deserved it through the hard work and effort put in by all. Lets hope this increased momentum continues after the fiestas and into the end of the season and beyond.
