The passenger service between Torrevieja and Alicante Airport bears no intermediate stop, becoming an express service between the airport and bus station in Torrevieja.
The route selected will run inland, through the A-7 highway, instead of following the N-332 route, as the first one is carried out within a shorter period of time because of the traffic delays, especially during the summer, suffered by the N-332 road.
I think this an excellent alternative in trying to save money in these hard times! From Almoradi you can get a bus to Torrevieja to get you to Alicante Airport for a lot cheaper than having to get a taxi. Its a shame they are not stopping of at different towns along the way, although it could happen in the future.

Can anyone give me some advice on what is the best Television system for expats. At the moment we have Spanish tv, which is fine but we do miss a little bit of home and it will be nice to have both. Chris

We have lived here for several years and I am speaking from experience and not from anyone trying to sell you a system.
There are several options available to expats and that depends on many things, firstly and the most important is affordability and second is what you exactly want in terms of channels.
One of the cheapest methods is to have a large dish where(if part of a community)everbody feeds off, which should be a one off cost and no monthly subs. This will give you most British channels and some movies, however no live sport, ie premiership football etc. The other option is you can have a rebroadcaster ie Torresat to install a small dish for you and you will receive eurosport and some live games in addition to all the other channels. This will cost you 21 euros pm. There are other options but they will obviously cost you more. Please feel free to ask any other points you are not sure about.

Thank you for an depth analysis on this subject. Where we are renting at the moment it is mainly Spanish residents and other nationalities,so I don´t believe they have a large dish on the roof solarium. But your open information has given me a better idea of what we can do. I will be talking to the President in my broken Spanish and see what he says.

Looking for reasonably priced apartment
We are renting at the moment and would eventually like to buy and feel now is the time to start looking around for an apartment. Either new build or resale is fine and have looked on this site but there isn´t too many. Do you know if there will be more added to this site? Hello, my name is Christine an I am a pole fitness instructor. I have recently started classes in and around the Torrevieja area.
Pole dance & pole fitness is a great way to Get fit, meet wonderful people, learn a skill, have fun, sculpt your physique, tone up, build your confidence and much much more.
CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY RUNNING ON:
WEDNESDAY 6:30PM at the "Gym & Fitness Center" Torrevieja (near the aqua park/coastrider/club "LOVE")
(Classes here are 6€ for the hour)
Friday 11:30am-12:30pm & 12:30pm-1:30pm at the "FIT4ALL" gym on the Punta prima roundabout
(Classes here are 6€ per each hour or 10€ for both class at FIT4ALL)
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A POLE DANCE & FITNESS CLASS:
Each Polenastics pole fitness and dance class is generally 1 hour long, and includes a warm up and cool down, pole moves, tricks & floor work. You will also have the chance to learn and perfect pole dance routines, posture and walking exercises.
As a beginner, after an initial introductory chat with your Polenastics pole fitness and dance instructor, (where I will need to know of any injuries or illnesses, your ability, concerns and expectations), you will be put on a pole with either 3 or 4 other ladies of similar ability. You will then be shown some basic pole dance moves and linking sequences which you will practice with your pole buddies. If you are more advanced and have pole experience previously, please let us know when you book in and we can ensure that you are put on a pole with students around the same level.
