New Irish Pub to open in Almoradi

Its a spanish-irish pub from the looks of it but might be what this town needs

Any idea when it will be opened?

we spoke to our spanish customers last night and they reckoned it will be open in the next couple of weeks

I do not think it will be opened before xmas as walking past the other day the inside appeared to require a substantial amount of work.

it looks like its open now i passed tonite on the way in to work and it definatley looks open

Yes you are right its definately open as someone said they went in and were offered the first drink free.
Will try it soon and see what its like.

Bar Irlanda in Almoradi was a great bar in my opinion, but unfortunately there were not enough people to keep it in business locally.

could anyone tell me where this bar is please, I dont know any street names yet?

Not sure about that! We were in last Saturday night and I did not see any notices, however will ask next time we go in.

I was over in the New Year for a few days and visited this bar, can't understand how u couldn't be impressed with it. Decor etc. fab. They do not have Irish music though, and it is actually a Spanish bar. Definitely somewhere different to go in Almoradi.

yes the decor is nice, it just didnt really feel like an Irish Bar to me! I have been to Dublin a number of times and my inlaws are Irish and they would say the same, but saying that the staff were very friendly and I did have a pint of Fosters! I hope they do well though....even though I wasnt that impressed!

Totally agree Karen, it looks but doesnt have the atmosphere of an Irish bar, and is missing the Irish music in the background.
