I think you will find people are far too busy keeping an eye on the BBC News website or phoning back home to make any comment regarding the riots. Comments such are yours are just offensive& rude. Why do people want to be so nasty. Didn't you all move to Spain to bring sunshine into your lives?

Alan, I think what Mags is saying is that instead of being on here talking about it, people are watching the latest news on tv for updates and calling home to check on their family and friends. Just as we have done ourselves.
Meanwhile for what its worth I think the goverment should tell the police not to hold back, use water cannons, rubber bullets ( or the real thing) pepper spray whatever is needed to stop this rioting. But no doubt whatever they do will be wrong and the do gooders will complain.
The sad thing is if they do make arrests I expect some will be to young to be prosecuted and the tax payer will end up paying for legal representation for many of them if they end up in court, due to the fact they probably arent working anyway.
Thankfully even though one of my family members is a bus driver and was caught up in one of the first riots he is safe and well as are all the family, I hope all your families are safe to.
