Art classes
Why not learn to paint and draw this autumn? Classes have resumed at PALS Social Club, La Siesta on Monday mornings from 10.30-1.00pm as well as at Lo Marabu Restaurant (on the Lemon Tree Road near La Laguna Hotel, Quesada) on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 10.30-12.45pm. Complete beginners are very welcome as well as more experienced artists.
Suzanne Stokes has been teaching art in the area for more than 8 years and you can see an exhibition of her work at La Herradura Restaurant, next to the REPSOL Garage at Los Montesinos. Just wander in...no need to have a meal - though the dinner and Flamenco shows on Fridays and Saturdays are spectacular and great value!

This is a reminder that I will be starting a course aimed at complete beginners on 21st September. The course consists of 24 hours of teaching divided into two 90-minute classes over eight mornings. The timetable is 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. every weekday between 21st and 30th September. The price is 125 euros including materials.
The course will assume no prior knowledge of the language so is ideal for complete beginners and also for those who would like to start again from the beginning. We cover all the basics of pronunciation, alphabet, numbers, money, days, months, telling the time etc. etc. along with an abundance of useful phrases for everyday situations and general information about Spanish life.
