Anyone know of a washing machine repair man in Almoradi area. Washing machine is faulty and need someone to fix ASAP. (urgent actually).

It's in a village called Hurchillo just outside of Orihuela. The village has about 1000 inhabitance of which there is a small community so you wont feel lost. The village has bars restaurants shops and a bus route into the historic town of Orihuela

The property has 2 bed and is south facing,it also has access to the community pool

oh yea you can also get a menu del dia for 5 euro

well you cant beat that.

The apartment is new and modern inside, accomodating up to 6 people. The lounge/diner opens out onto a large patio which overlooks the pool. This room is equipped with lcd tv, dvd, cd and english satelite tv along with a sofa bed if required. Along the corridor there are two spacious double bedrooms, one with a kingsized bed and en-suite bathroom with shower and bath the other with twin beds. Both rooms have large built in wardrobes. The other bathroom is equipped with all the usual amenities along with a shower cubicle. The galley kitchen which also opens onto the patio has all the everyday amenities including washing machine, fridge freezer, oven, hob and microwave.

Warning for Orihuela parking rules.

I have read this:

Do you want to visit Orihuela you have to be careful where to park your car. If you do not live en Orihuela it is forbidden to park in the orange zone. The orange zone is only for citizens of Orihuela. The citizens have a authorization in the front window of the car. If you do park in the orange zone it costs 40 euro and the police has the power to tow away the car.

Houses being pulled down

I was watching a program last week about Homes from hell and it showed a villa being pulled down a few years ago in this area, I was wondering if this sort of thing is still going on? The reason for asking is that I have seen some very nice villas for sale on this site that look very cheap. 3 bed villas with pool for 150,000 euros Now I know this is cheap, is it because there are still problems in the area and the owners want to pass the problem on. Or that the properties are a great deal?
