These take place every first Sunday of the month & any artist or craft worker may participate freely in exhibiting, selling and running participation workshops etc, with the restriction that everything must be handmade! This is NOT to become a general flea market or sale of mass produced stuff, but a genuine art & craft event.
At the moment they start around 11 am & go onto 2 ish when there is a big paella etc by the bar (with music, dance, etc.), then can continue on through afternoon with more visitors after siesta, but in the summer, they'll become evening markets.
Advertising leaflets are now available from Rojales tourist info desk in town hall & the info office, Maria Jesus, cave 6 at Cuevas de Rodeo - PLEASE help by getting these into bars etc & letting everyone know about these great days out.
Sunday 2nd June is the last daytime event until October 2013.
